| | Fall Out Boy - Sugar We're Goin' Down | ] | Yes, I am alive and well...still crazy, but alive *grin* Alot's been going on, I've been a busy girl lately. Gone on trips, worked alot, got a new man, etc. Went to North Carolina several months ago (included my first NASCAR race...I am officially a Tony Stewart fan! Love, love, LOVE the man). Also went to Columbus for Christmas to visit my dad, brother, and family. It was fun, got lots of cool stuff. Last weekend, my boyfriend and I went to visit my friend Gaelyn in Dayton, OH for the weekend. I learned to play poker, which is actually pretty fun. I always thought it was dumb before, but now that I can actually comprehend the game, I'm a fan :-) I suppose you want to know about the new guy, eh? He's a good one this time, maybe he'll keep me around ;-) He adores me and I adore him. I really couldn't be any luckier. His name is Jared, and we've been together 2 months now, still going strong. We'll, I think he just got here, so I better go before he catches me swooning about him *grins* Have a good week everyone! |

| | Green Day - When September Ends | ] | I guess I could just pick one thing to talk about each time and go from there. On September 3rd, my best friend Carrie got married :) She and Randy have been dating for 7 years, so I say it's about time! It was seriously the most beautiful, extravagant wedding I have ever seen, and will ever see. The whole day was so much fun. The rehearsal dinner the night before was held at a martini bar (which everyone agreed should not be recommended again because everyone gets too drunk, lol). I spent the night at Carrie's, woke up at 7AM sharp to go get our hair done. (Nails and toes were done the day before of course). After that, makeup, jewelry, and dresses were put on amist mimosas and breakfast. The wedding was perfect, Carrie was gorgeous, a true princess in every sense of the word. We took a limo bus to the reception at the Marriot Courtyard, boozing all the way *grin* Before the reception, I took my date (Dave) with everyone up to the Penthouse where we got the party started. The reception was fabulous. Prime rib, a fancy ballroom, open bar all night, chocolate waterfall, DJ/band, you name it. Everyone got drunk, danced, and took pictures. It was a blast. Then, we all stayed the night in the hotel. But no, it wasn't over yet. The next morning, Dave and I got up to go to brunch in the indoor garden with the bridal party and family. The perfect way to end the weekend :) Carrie and Randy then went to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon!
My best wishes for a long and happy future go out to the newlyweds!

| | crushed | ] | Yes, I'm still alive...barely. Things have been pretty sucky lately. I suppose there's much to talk about, but I don't really feel like it right now. I'll get on it soon. Finally got the Internet back a couple weeks ago, so I'm sure you'll be seeing more of me. Hope you all (if any of you still read this, heh) are doing well. Take care. |

| | Simple Plan - Untitled | ] | Since I have ample opportunity, I might as well make an entry. I've become extremely lazy with this, I don't know what's gotten into me.
Spring break, which happened many months ago, was quite good. Dave and I went down to N.C. (south-eastern part, mind you) to visit Joe. It was in the 60s, 70s, so definitely much warmer than PA. It was nice to get away for both of us, and really good to see Joe again. Lots of drinking, eating, SIMS, and football was involved. I have discovered I am actually a decent football player. Dave will tell you, he is quite proud *grin*
D and I also went to Canada for the night again about a month ago. It was wonderful. We went to Boston Pizza, Rumors, etc. and drank it up. We plan to go again very soon. I can't wait! I love it there, I don't know why I don't go more often, it's not that far away.
One of my best friends, Emily M., came to visit me the past two weekends. It was such a blast. I haven't seen her since last June, so it was good times. We went out alot, with my friends Brody, Matt, Eric S., Eric P., Kenny, and Bitner. I'm aware that they were all guys, but hey, nothing wrong with that. Free drinks and plenty of attention all night! Ha. The way it should be. Em is now officially a chef, and she showed off her cooking skills by making dinner for Dave and I. It was fantastic, especially the pork tenderloin (which I confused with porkchops). We also hit some movies, shopped like freaks, and hung out with my awesome roomie, Erica. Got to see her wedding dress, and it's absolutely beautiful! Now, Em is gone, and I am sad. I am going to visit her soon, and we are going to swim in their pool and ride their horses, yay!
Started Lakeside Golf again. Juggling between my two jobs, it looks like I don't get any days off at all, unless I ask off. I feel burnt out already... |

| Well! |
[Feb. 27th, 2005|11:18 am] |
I figure I better take advantage of this, since I'm actually online. You hear me gripe and complain about having no Internet, yet I do nothing. I'm stupid. Not to mention I thought maybe this would cure my Internet addication, which it has done so, but also made me have a life too. Unfortunately, I have no life, even more so now than ever. What a loser! Oh well, I tried.
Nothing new here. I need to go back to school, desparately! I do NOT want to make a career out of bartending. *sigh* The only good thing right now is that Dave and I are going to NC next week. Thank God. I really need a vacation. And I hope this trip will be good for the both of us. Anyone else going on any interesting trips in the next few months? Just curious.
That's all this moron's got to say. |

| | Green Day - Boulevard Of Broken Dreams | ] | Just got back from Canada last night for my boyfriend's birthday. It was an awesome time. I went with Dave, his sister, his mom, and her boyfriend. We stayed at the brand new casino, Fallsview Casino, in Niagra Falls. Our rooms were so awesome!!! They were like suites, definitely one of the best I've ever stayed in. We spent most of the time gambling and drinking of course. Thank God I grew a brain and eventually realized that I would continue to spend $$ and not win anything (I have the worst luck in the world), so I quit and just watched Dave blow it all *grin* He didn't win much, poor guy, but his mom and her boyfriend both did pretty well. His mom is super cool, and wouldn't even let me pay for anything. I felt bad, and then I was thrilled to death when she won some money. All in all, it was a fantastic time, and I can't wait for us to go again. Possibly for spring break, but we are also planning to go to NC to visit my friend Joe :)
Not much else is happening. Work is really slow...so, can't wait to work the golf course this spring. Been hanging out with Erin alot. We try to get together once or twice a week to shop and eat, our specialty *grin* Jayla came up last Wed. and spent the night at my place, it was fun :) Also did some shopping with Carrie last week. I miss her. I don't get to see her very much because our schedules clash so much, not to mention she lives in Northeast. Bah. Oh well, her wedding, the wedding of a lifetime, is coming up soon!!!
Dave ~ Happy Birthday babe! |

| | Counting Crows - Accidentally In Love | ] | Well, I'm bored to death, so I might as well write something. Nothing really interesting going on, so I will just blah blah blah.
Seen alot of movies lately, one was with Dave's family. We saw "Meet the Fockers," which was funny, but not appropriate for kids. We had Dave's little brother Mikey with us, and I had the misfortune of sitting by him. I love the kid, don't get me wrong, but the reason being was the following: In one part of the movie, Focker's eccentric parents were showing off the baby book, which actually included his foreskin. Bewildered, Mikey leans over to me (of all people) and asks, very loudy, "What's a foreskin??" How did I answer, you all ask? "Ask your brother later!!" Haha :) He also asked me later, what the "fruit of the loins" was. Man!
I saw my three best friends in high school all in one week! None of which I haven't seen in a very long time or been in touch with. Dave and I met up with Gaelyn and her friend Joy last week at Andy's, and shot some pool. It was a good time. Last night I spent the night at Erica's and did some catching up. Then tonight, I ran into Emily J. at a Chinese restaurant. We promised to keep in touch for real this time. I realize it's so important to keep these girls in my life. We've all been through too much to let it go to waste. I miss the good old days sometimes...
Well, I've run out of steam it seems. |
